A big "Thanks!" to everyone who helped out with "An Evening of Entertainment," the firefighter fundraiser held in Memorial Park in La Canada this past September. It was great to perform magic along with my friends Kyle Eschen and John Accardo from the Magic Castle, and local musical talents Les Brers, Emma Shupper, The Bluegrass Billionaires, Minstral King and Michael Burten. ABC Channel 7 news was there, and covered the event on television that night. As the organizer of the event, I really appreciate the support of all the local schools, businesses and newspapers, the La Canada City Council, Nancy Eschen for the great bake sale, and everyone in the community who donated so generously to the firefighters. |

This is a news article on my first role as an actor. It's funny, I was interested in the part because I would play a magician, but then I fell in love with acting for its own sake. Later, I played a lead role in the one act play The Author's Voice by Richard Greenburg, which also played at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, ME. Thanks to my hometown newspaper, the La Canada Valley Sun, for their ongoing support. |
